Award for Outstanding Achievement in Business Librarianship
This award recognizes a Division member that has made an outstanding contribution to the field of business and finance librarianship and information science.

Distinguished Member Award
This award is intended to honor individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the field of business librarianship throughout the course of their career.

Distinguished Leadership & Service Award

The purpose of this award is to acknowledge an individual who has distinguished himself or herself as a leader through demonstrated commitment to service.

Impact Award

The B&F Impact Award recognizes a Division member who creates value by aligning with the goals of their organization through the innovative and effective use of information to impact the accomplishment of those goals.

Professional Grants and Student Stipends
The Division offers professional grant awards and student stipend awards to help cover expenses at the SLA Annual Conference.

International Travel Award

This award is offered to an information professional from a developing country to help cover expenses at the SLA Annual Conference.

B&F Division/SLA Europe Early Career Awards
This award is offered to current library and information science students and those in the first 5 years of their information careers to attend the SLA Annual Conference for the first time. The student must be a current member
of the SLA Europe Chapter.

B&F Division/SLA Asian Chapter Early Career Awards
This award recognizes an SLA Asian Chapter member, with an award of $2000, who has been in the field for five years or less, or is currently enrolled in a graduate-level programme in the LIS field. The purpose of the award is to provide an opportunity to attend the annual Special Libraries Association (SLA) conference.

Achievement in Academic Business Librarianship Award

Who Are We?

The scope of the Business & Finance Division encompasses all aspects of business and financial libraries, including planning, collection building, design of services and operations, personnel, education, and the development of new business information sources.
